Born and raised in San Francisco, I carry the city’s rhythms, people, and landscapes within me. Now living in New York, I’ve returned to photograph the place that shaped a part of my life. Once Home is a continuing series that explores San Francisco’s shifting identity, where nature, architecture, and community meet in harmony and contrast. From Ocean Beach to the Golden Gate Bridge, these images reflect a city shaped by light, texture, and atmosphere.
The work considers how people move through these spaces and how memory lingers in the built and natural environment. It invites reflection on the relationship between place, time, and belonging.
San Francisco is a city of contrasts: serene yet dynamic, timeless yet always changing. This work returns to the place and the people that first defined my way of seeing.
